BD Blue Bells Public School continues to
champion digital responsibility as a core life skill, reinforcing its
commitment to creating aware and empowered learners. As part of this vision, a
Cyber Safety Workshop was conducted on May 12, 2026, on the occasion of
National Technology Day, led by Dr. Rakshit Tandon, Cyber Security Expert,
under the guidance of Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Associate Director, BBGS.
Student representatives of the Cyber
Council from the Senior Wing conducted an interview with Dr. Rakshit, raising
insightful questions on navigating the digital world safely and making
responsible online choices. This was followed by thoughtfully structured
sessions for Classes IX–XII and Classes V–VIII, wherein students were guided
through simple, practical strategies for online safety. Dr. Rakshit highlighted
how everyday actions like creating strong passwords, avoiding unsecured public
Wi-Fi, and safeguarding personal information can significantly reduce risks. By
sharing examples of the latest online scams and common tactics used by
fraudsters, he made students aware of how easily people can be misled. He also
sensitised students about gaming apps and the age criteria they must follow. His
relatable and engaging approach ensured that learners became more alert and
responsible digital users.
The workshop concluded with a Vote of Thanks, reaffirming the school’s continuous and focused efforts to nurture informed, responsible, and resilient digital citizens.
