ON
‘CLIMATE CHANGE’

At Blue
Bells, we endeavour to form initiatives that promote the unfolding potential of
the youth, through a process of constant self-exploration and self-evaluation,
with a vision to realize a sense of community service, strong social values,
and high levels of participation in governance.
Extreme
unpredictable weather, higher temperatures, and changing rainfall patterns are
being experienced by populations globally, regardless of whether it is recognized
as ‘Climate Change.’ To spread awareness about living in harmony with nature
and conserving our precious resources, Blue Bells Public School organized a
Climate Marathon on June 03 , 2022, within a radius of 500 meters of the
school. The event was a proud testimony of the commitment of the school to
creating awareness about the ‘Paris Agreement and Solutions for the Climate
Problem of the World’. The Senior Student Council, students, and teachers of
Classes VI to X were arduously involved. The students not only enthralled but
also annunciate their understanding among the residents of Sector 10 on the
grave issue of ‘Climate Change’ through a thought-provoking Street Play and
Marathon.
The
Marathon was flagged off from the school by the School Leadership Team and then
the group of enthusiastic and energetic climate warriors took on the task of
spreading awareness on the issue. The school team received an overwhelming
response from all stakeholders be it their mentors, teachers, peers, or
residents of Sector 10, Gurugram.

A five-day camp to the picturesque Barot Valley was organized for classes VI-VIII, blending adventure with self-discovery. The action-packed expedition featured thrilling challenges like a hike to Lapas Waterfall, ziplining, bridge slithering over the Uhl River, and conquering the Burma Bridge.
Outdoor Excursion for Classes IX & X
BDBBPS organised an exhilarating five-day outstation trip for Classes IX-X to Ranikhet and Nainital from May 28 to June 1, 2026. During their stay, students engaged in vital team-building activities and outdoor survival courses, including shelter-making and wilderness cooking.
